Dubbo Farmers Market vice-chairperson Estell Joseph said it would be good to see residents coming down on the day.
"Of course, if you do come down ensure you're following COVID-19 safety procedures," Mrs Joseph said.
"Do your "shop n go" thing, point to what you want and the stallholder will package it for you and if you feel unwell, please consider others and recover at home."
Mrs Joseph said she is 'more relieved than anything' for the markets return.
"It's obviously best to buy local and support our locals," she said.
"That way you know what your buying is fresh, organic and locally grown or crafted.
"At the moment we are looking to have 25 stores on the day, but that could change."
Regular market store holder Sarah Cass from Lansdowne Farm Natural Skincare is one of the stores who will be set up on the day.
Mrs Cass said the return of the markets means they will be able to provide fresh produce to the community once again.
"After our customers supporting us through a long drought now, with relief, we can provide our farming produce back to our lovely loyal shoppers," Mrs Cass said.
