Manager Emily Ross says everything is 'good to go' for a wider reopening that will see the centre return to a more normal work load after operating with a skeleton crew in recent months.

"We're opening back up on Monday, it'll still be in a limited capacity, but we do have our gymnastics coming back, our kindergym program, gym for all and our competitive gymnastics," Ms Ross said.

Other programs, like the boxing and karate programs, will also be returning, but with very different approaches.

"We've got our COVID safe plan all in place, we're following all the guidelines around distancing, people won't be sharing equipment and everything's cleaned after every class," Ms Ross said.

"We have limited programs for the remainder of term two, then we'll bring in the school holiday program, then term three will be whatever it is at that stage."

The next three weeks will focus as a reintroduction for many of the children, easing them back into their usual programs.

For now, the classes will be run on a time limited basis, with changed operating hours and the centre only a few days of the week.

"For the moment, we've changed our core hours to 12 - 8, but things are constantly changing, so the days we're open and the time, there'll be updates on the Facebook page about that," Ms Ross said.
