Friday's meeting is one of the fastest-growing annual events on the Dubbo Turf Club calendar and general manager Vince Gordon wants to ensure that continues.
Things have slowed a little this year due to the impact of COVID-19 and at this stage there will be no crowd at the track this week.
But quality on the track is still assured after 193 nominations were received.
The Silver Goblet two-year-old feature attracted 17 nominations while 41 for one maiden race means that event could be split to create a nine-race meeting.
"One-hundred-and-ninety nominations. It's a really good thing," Gordon said.
Friday's meeting will also feature the Winter Country Classic Final, as well as the Rhino Cup, and open company sprint event over 1000m.
This marks the second year of the Winter Country Classic series and the two heats again attracted strong numbers.

The numbers across the board have Gordon hoping the Chamber of Commerce day can be given showcase status with increased prizemoney next year while he also wants to ensure the long-term health of the Silver Goblet.
Gordon said he wants to "reinvigorate" the two-year-old industry in the western area with just three horses from local stables among the Goblet nominations for Friday.
"Pre-drought we had planned to reintroduce the yearling sales into Dubbo but (there's been) a couple of years of drought and then the pandemic," Gordon said.
"But our vision is to get the yearling sales back. Then maybe have a series for them or a becnhmark 66 series for horses who have come through country sales.
"We continue to have a vision and look at how we can come out of COVID. We'll come out with some good ideas."
This year's Goblet is set to feature Dubbo trainers Dar Lunn and Kody Nestor, while Narromine's Kody Nestor is also in the mix.
Lunn nominated strong last-start winner Praline while Nestor's pair of Galleries Supreme and Boom Boom Basil are in line to debut in the event.
Galleries Supreme finished fourth in a recent trial behind former Country Championships finalist Westlink while Boom Boom Basil was seventh.
Also nominated for the Goblet was Conscript, from the stables of Group 1 winning trainer Gerald Ryan, and three hopes for the state's most successful trainer this season, Kris Lees.
Heat winners Cloud Factory and Modernity, the former from the Dubbo stables of Stephen Edwards, headline the Winter Country Classic field.
The Rhino Cup, at this stage, is the lone event not set to jump with a full field.
The 1600m event attracted 13 nominations, among those last year's winner Any Blinkin' Day, Michael Mulholland's Steamin' and Potent Force, Kris Lees' Irish gelding Cullingworth, and tough country gallopers A Magic Zariz and A Martin Placepick.
"It's going to be a big day," Gordon said.
Gordon added he was hopeful crowds might be back soon as owners and members are set to attend Saturday's meeting at Rosehill.
Final fields for Friday's meeting are released on Wednesday.
