Libby McMahon was one of four people to make a submission at the recent council meeting. In her submission, which was read out at the council meeting, she called for the resealing of the road to continue.
Council is in the process of determining its budget for the next financial year, as well as the proposed spending across the next four years.
Across the next four financial years, $21.8 million has been allocated for urban road works, including $12.1 million in the upcoming financial year. There's also $24.1 million allocated for rural roads. Of that, $15.3 million is for 2020/21.

Ms McMahon said she was grateful to council for the upgrade two kilometres of the Old Mendooran Road a couple of years ago.
"As a result of this wonderful upgrade we have noticed quite a significant increase in the traffic using this great road, not only from local residents but a huge increase of travellers travelling from interstate," she said.
"I personally have stopped to help many people who have pulled over on the side of the road when they have left the tar and are uncertain about driving on the unsealed part of the road. When I ask if they're okay, their reply usually is 'I'm heading to either up north or down south and this is the way Google Maps is taking me'."
Ms McMahon urged council to consider completing the sealing.
"Even Google Maps is recognising the importance of Old Mendooran Road, please council can you also do so?" she said in her submission.
Council is responsible for 415 kilometres of urban streets and another 2320km of rural roads. Of those, 42 per cent remain unsealed.
