Emergency services were called to a property on Ellengerah Street in Narromine at 6pm on Sunday, May 31 following reports of a blaze in a unit.

Fire and Rescue NSW Dubbo Station Officer Simon Bracht said the unit where the fire ignited was left substantially damaged.

"The unit looked to be almost totally destroyed," he said.

There were six units in the block and 11 people were evacuated from the property during the emergency incident.

There were no reports of injuries.

Station Officer Bracht said firefighters were able to contain the blaze to one unit. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
