The Biggest Morning Tea was hosted by the Dubbo Landscape Centre and there was plenty of locals, organisations and groups who helped raise a total of $253.
They included members of the community garden, Delroy High, Beau Robinson and officers from the youth programs at the PCYC.
It was their first time holding the Cancer Council's major fundraising event, which is hosted across Australia every year on May 28.
Behn Monley from Dubbo Landscape Centre said it was a really nice, fun morning and something the business will definitely be doing in future.
"I think we've all been touched by cancer at one stage," he said.
