Within 48 hours of the NSW Premier's announcement in March to move to remote schooling, the academy took all of its classes online with teacher-led learning all day for all timetabled classes for all year levels.
Central West Leadership Academy principal Mandi Randell said she was proud of the academy staff who were able to offer teacher-led and student supported learning each day.

"We offer high quality differentiated learning that is teacher led. That didn't change with the move to remote learning. Parents were not expected to home school; teachers were delivering instruction online via zoom and other platforms all day," she said.
"The academy is ready to roll with the waves of challenges that COVID-19 may present. As we transition back to full time face-to-face, we are ready to continue our highly differentiated learning. The academy has transitioned to three days a week for all children, and will begin transitioning back to full time over the coming weeks.
