TWENTY personal shoppers have been hired at Wellington's Woolworths store to assist with an increase in online orders around the region.
On May 20 Woolworths in Wellington will start fulfilling online orders to increase the delivery capacity in the region, in addition to the central Dubbo store which currently fulfills all delivery orders.
Wellington store manager Adam Morrissey said they were seeing more customers turn to the online delivery service.
"The move will provide a local jobs boost with more than 20 personal shoppers hired to pick online orders for our delivery customers.
"We're pleased our store will help make life a little easier for customers, with more delivery windows to choose from."
The changes will not impact the in-store experience at the Wellington site.
