Data released this week on council's drought hub shows residents in Dubbo used 195L per person per day during the week of May 4 to May 10.
For the same period residents of Wellington used 162L per person per day, while residents in Geurie used 133L per person per day.
It is the first time since the collected data has been made available through the drought hub that residents in Dubbo have used below 200L per person per day.
Dubbo previous lowest reading was 201L per person per day from March 6 to March 12.
Rain and cooler weather have been associated with the decrease in figures.
The figures, released weekly, represent the average daily water use per person in the three towns in the LGA.
The figures are calculated in accordance with the Integrated Water Cycle Management Plan methodology and data provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
