The clinic's lead clinician, Dubbo Medical and Allied Health Group director Dr Sunil Jacob, says the donated caps "definitely brighten up the place".
"It can be intimidating coming to a clinic but brighter colours make patients feel more welcome," Dr Jacob said.

The scrub caps were made and donated by the Scrub Cap Angels, made up of 24 volunteers from places including Grenfell, Cowra, Gooloogong, Canowindra, Bathurst, Sydney, Orange and Yass.
The group has set about making scrub caps for clinics starting up across Western and Far Western NSW.
"The idea of bright and colourful caps was to bring some joy to clinicians and their patients and to really say a massive thank you to the people who are giving so much time and dedication to healthcare," a spokeswoman for the group said.
The federally-funded clinic at 183 Brisbane Street opened on Monday for people experiencing fever and respiratory symptoms. Treatment is free.
