The services provides remote access to the library and offers a suite of free resources including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, film streaming and new services including virtual story time.
"While we have temporarily closed our doors due to the impacts of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the library is much more than a building," Macquarie Regional Library manager Kathryn McAlister said.

Virtual storytimes will be conducted by live streaming live every Wednesday at 11am.
Other services available at anytime include story box library, a virtual storytelling experience presented by popular authors and entertainers.
The story box library is suitable for preschool and primary aged children.
