The Western NSW Local Health District has confirmed the death of a person from complications related to COVID-19.

The person had previously been diagnosed with COVID-19 before being admitted to Orange Hospital where they died on Wednesday.
At the request of the family, no further details will be provided.
Orange now has confirmed eight cases.
The number of coronavirus cases in Western NSW increased by one overnight to a new total of 37 confirmed cases.
This latest case is in the Coonamble local government area and it is the first case for this council region.
There are nine COVID-19 cases in Bathurst, followed by six in Dubbo and four in the Mid-Western local government area.
There are also cases in Blayney (3), Cabonne (2), while Narromine, Weddin, Warrumbungle and Warren which have one case each.
There have been no confirmed cases in the Cowra, Forbes, Bogan, Oberon and Parkes local government areas.
The number of locally acquired cases where the contact has not been identified remains the same.
A Western NSW LHD spokeswoman said it was critical that everyone continued to practice social distancing to minimise the risk of the transmission of COVID-19.
