Across the region there are 36 cases, with the highest number in the Bathurst local government area with nine people infected.

There are eight COVID-19 cases in the Orange LGA, with six in Dubbo and four in the Mid-Western LGA.

Blayney LGA has three cases with others in Cabonne (2), and Narromine, Weddin, Warrumbungle and Warren which have one case each.

There have been no confirmed cases in the following local government areas: Cowra, Forbes, Nyngan, Oberon and Parkes.

A Western NSW Local Health District spokeswoman said while no new cases have been diagnosed overnight this was not the time to relax.

"It is critical that everyone in all our local communities continue to practice social distancing to minimise the risk of the transmission of COVID-19," she said.

"This is important for everyone, but particularly for older people and people with health conditions that make them more vulnerable.

"It's also important that we protect our health care workers who we need to stay well to provide care to people who become sick with COVID-19."

Meanwhile, across NSW there are 2032 confirmed cases from the 99,951 tests conducted.
