Despite Supermarket giant Coles having advertised for 5,000 new casual employees to restock empty shelves across Australia due to the COVID-19 crisis, only one of those positions applies to the Dubbo store- a trolley clerk.

Tens of thousands of Australians have scrambled to apply for the positions after many were left without work due to the closure of more than a third of the countries businesses.
It is unclear as of yet if any of the Dubbo Woolworths stores are hiring, but with changes being implemented in its stores, there remains a good chance more positions may become available to community members.
Several changes across Dubbo's three Woolworths supermarket stores will come into effect on Monday to further support the health and wellbeing of its customers and team members.
Woolworths supermarkets will allocate an hour to Emergency Services and Healthcare workers only.
The hours will run between 7am to 8am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
A dedicated community hour from 7am to 8am will continue to be allocated for seniors and those with a disability on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Checkout operators will now rotate every two hours to ensure face-to-face interactions are limited and customers will now be required to pack their own shopping bags at checkout.
If a customer's shopping bag is not clean, Woolworth's will replace it free of cost.
Social distancing measures of 1.5 metres between individuals implemented by Woolworths earlier this week will continue to apply to customers and staff.
There will be a rollout of plexiglass screens across manned checkouts.
A greeter will be outside of every store to wipe down baskets, trolleys and inform customers of the changes.
Some registers in self serve and express will be closed and customers are encouraged to pay by card.

Additional cleaning, hygiene processes and security will also be implemented.
Woolworths Supermarkets Managing Director, Claire Peters said so far the social distancing measures have been well received by customers and staff.
"Our teams, suppliers and logistics partners continue to work hard behind the scenes to improve product availability for our customers in-store," Ms Peters said.
"We thank our customers for their understanding as we work through these challenging times together."
