Further facilities closing include amenity blocks at the Japanese Gardens and Adventure Playground along with Teamsters Park and Bicentennial Park in Wellington.
Customer Experience Centres will also close as of 5pm Friday, as well as the Wellington Pound and Dubbo City Animal Shelter.
Facility staff will still be available for residents to speak to over the phone or online.
The amenities blocks at the Dubbo Church Street Rotunda, Cameron Park in Wellington, and Wise Park in Geurie will remain open to the public, and will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected every three hours as part of council's overall COVID-19 hygiene protocols.
Essential services including rubbish collection and water/sewer services will continue operating even if the current situation significantly worsens.
