The Western NSW Local Health District announced the latest confirmed case of the coronavirus in the Bathurst Regional Local Government Area on Friday morning
Bit it also offered reassurance that when in Dubbo, the doctor "was not considered to be infectious".

"The Western NSW Local Health District has confirmed that a staff member undertaking work at Bathurst Hospital has recently tested positive for COVID-19," its spokeswoman said.
"The staff member has also performed work at Dubbo Hospital but was not considered to be infectious at that time."
The spokeswoman said Bathurst Hospital staff who were considered to have been in close contact with the doctor had been asked to self-quarantine and would receive daily wellness checks.
"Staff and patients who may be considered to be at risk are being contacted by the public health team," she said.
At 8am on Friday there were six confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Dubbo Regional Local Government Area (LGA) and 27 in the health district.
Bathurst Regional LGA had seven, Orange City LGA six, Mid-Western Regional LGA two and Narromine LGA one.
