Following more restrictions on travel Sunday night's announcement from the Prime Minister that non-essential services would be sht down, there was concerns about the immediate future of thoroughbreds, harness racing and greyhounds.
However it was confirmed on Monday racing would go on.
The governing body of the three industries released similar statements and each said they would keep participants updated in the coming days.
Racing NSW stated meetings would "proceed under strict bio-security risk management protocols in accordance with government and health authority advice".

Race meetings across all three codes remain closed to the public while a number of health measures and social distancing is also required at each track.
The next greyhounds meeting in Dubbo is this Friday night while there is no harness racing until April 11 and the next meeting at Dubbo Turf Club is on May 3.
There will be a meeting at Narromine Turf Club on Thursday while the Wellington Boot carnival is less than two weeks away.
