As a precaution the owner of the facility, Dubbo Regional Council, ask only those conducting business, specifically, agents, buyers, transporters, contractors and staff, attend the saleyards.
As the facility continues to operate it will be increasing hygiene practices and communications across the facility as practical.
If people are feeling unwell, or have been asked to self isolate due to potential exposure, Council ask that they do not not enter the saleyards.
"We have reached out this morning to all people who have completed the Dubbo Regional Livestock Market induction,"
"We have advised them that only those people conducting direct business at DRLM - namely agents, buyers, transporters, contractors and staff - attend the sale yards." Ross McCarthy, Manager Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets said.
"As we continue operating, we have increased hygiene practices and communications across our facility, and we ask for all stakeholders to support us in this process."
On March, 18 Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a ban of inside gatherings of 100 people or more.
Outside gatherings up to 500 people are allowed.
