The Stars of Dubbo Dance for Cancer will continued as planned, says the Cancer Council.
Events across the country have been cancelled or postponed following the federal government's ban on non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people.
But Cancer Council NSW director of community engagement Rory Alcock said the event at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre was still on.
"Our Stars of Dubbo 'Dance for Cancer' event on Friday 1 May is currently still going ahead as planned," he said.

Mr Alcock said he thanked everyone involved in the event for their patience and ongoing support.
