"It's a good family day out with a relaxed atmosphere.
"Mums and dads can enjoy themselves while the kids are entertained by Pooka the clown and a jumping castle as well."
This year gate entry has being funded by the Macquarie Picnic Races club to support the local community, and help the Jockey Club provide a great day out.
"Both clubs work very closely together and help each other out, as we're all working for the same cause, providing events for locals and putting money back into the community," Mr Mackinnon said.
"We very much appreciate the support of the Macquarie Picnics getting behind the community providing free entry to the races to help encourage more people to come."
