Mrs Beahan was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2019. After surgery and six months of chemotherapy, followed by multiple rounds of ray treatment, she thought things were looking up.
Then 11 months later, in November 2019, the Narromine resident woke up one morning to find her left arm not working properly. Doctors discovered 12 brain tumors and advised her that the situation was terminal and she will start palliative care.
In March 2020, after 14 months of fighting the disease, doctors found two more tumors, one on her chest near her heart and another towards her back.
My sisters wedding is in five weeks time, so we are hoping the immunotherapy will begin to work soon so she can be somewhat well for that.

Mrs Beahan's son Josh said his mother was given a choice.
"She could either live it out, or choose to fight. Mum being a strong woman has chosen to fight."
Mr Beahan started a GoFundMe page in the hope his mother would receive some help to pay for her most recent medical costs, which will total around $26,500.
"Each round of the treatment costs $5000 a fortnight and must be paid up-front or the drug will not be administered."
So far the local community has helped pay for three of the five treatments.
"We want mum to get this treatment and not have to think or worry about getting this money together on her own... to make a really difficult/stressful situation for her somewhat easier," Mr Beahan said.
"We love mum very much and we want to help her get the treatment she needs without any stress or anxiety.
"My sister's wedding is in five weeks time, so we are hoping the immunotherapy will begin to work soon so she can be somewhat well for that.
"The hope is that the immunotherapy will slow down the two new tumors at the very least ... However it goes we will have some more time to spend with mum hopefully," Mr Beahan said.
"The hardest part about cancer is there are no guarantees. As mum is terminally ill, the goal of the immunotherapy is to hopefully improve her quality of life and give her some more time with us."
