Colts sides defeated the two sides which led the competition heading into the weekend.
RSL-Colts Coolbaggie overpowered Newtown Demons while RSL-Colts United proved too good for CYMS White.
Coolbaggie had Richie Deebank to thank as it recovered from 6/72 to post a match-winning 7/208 against the Demons.
Deebank made 105 at the top of the order and combined with Rupert Backus (55 not out) to add 112 for the seventh wicket.
Peter Morrison's 78 gave the Demons hope in reply but there was few other contributions as the Newtown team fell 26 runs short.
Thomas Shield took 4/32 in the win.

A strong all-round performance, highlighted by a couple of standout showings, led United past CYMS White.
Pat Cuskelly top-scored with 50 but seven United players made double figures in the total of 173.
Geoff Wheeler's three early wickets then sent United on its way and CYMS White, missing a couple of key players, managed just 145 in reply.
South Lemons was the big winner of the weekend, rocketing into minor premiership contention after a commanding win over Macquarie.
John Byrne (33) and Jeff Shanks (30) helped the Lemons post 8/191 and then Macquarie was rolled for 77 in reply.
CYMS Green kept its finals hopes alive when defeating Newtown Gold on Saturday.
Braydon McGhee, while falling just short of a century, played a major role in the win.
He made 93 not out while Dave McAlister posted 79 in the total of 6/252.
Gold gave it a shake, with Jakob Short (48) and Lewis Goodman (43) banging a few, but Nick McGirr bagged three wickets as the Newtown side was knocked over for 208.
Souths Limes defeated Newtown Black in the final match of the round.
After knocking over Newtown Black for 131 the Limes reached the target with five wickets and 11 overs to spare.
In the RSL-Pinnington Cup competition, RSL-Colts has rocketed itself into finals contention after thumping Macquarie.
The outright win was set-up on day one, with Macquarie resuming its second innings at 1/0 on Saturday already trailing Colts by 94.
The Blues, after making just 61 in the first dig, showed more fight in the second innings but was knocked over for 122.
Tyson Deebank took four wickets for Colts, who then reached the lowly target of 29 with ease.
The win moves Colts within two points of the third-placed CYMS, who scored a thrilling win on Saturday.
The Cougars seemed in real trouble when Newtown was at 5/183 chasing 193 for victory.
But the Tigers incredibly lost 5/17 to suffer a painful defeat.
Sam Knaggs (3/56) did much of the damage and took the all-important last wicket.
Greg Kerr (63) had earlier put Newtown well on top.
Rugby wrapped up the minor premiership with an outright win over Souths in the final match of the round.
Rugby was already well on top when play resumed, having wrapped up first innings points on day one.
The end came soon for Souths, as they were rolled for just 77 in their second innings, and Rugby cruised to 3/51 to secure maximum points.
Next round is the final one of the regular season in both competitions.
