Macquarie Regional Library will host a free evening presented by publisher/editor Dr David Reiter and editor Merrill Findlay.
Dark Sky Dreamings is a collection of inspiring prose and poetry by 49 diverse Australian writers responding to the big sky and wide landscapes of our inland astro-trail.
Ms Findlay describes the works in the book as being as diverse as the authors, funny, inspiring, thought provoking, poignant and profound.
Including everything from intensely personal memoirs, essays that evoke a deep sense of home and belonging, Sci-Fi fantasies that take you to freshly imagined worlds, and poems of transcendent beauty about our place in the Universe.

Some stories are light while others address obdurate social challenges: domestic violence, misogyny, sexism, racism, white supremacism, religious fundamentalism, mental illness, animal cruelty, environmental degradation, rural conservatism, the impacts of colonisation on First Nations peoples, and our species' future in the Universe.
The workshop will run on Saturday, March 28, from 4pm. For more information or to make a booking contact Dubbo Library on 6801 4510.
