The event starts on Thursday and Dubbo Golf Club's ladies president Maureen Dempsey has spent weeks looking after the billets, hospitality and catering.
Ms Dempsey helped 110 of the 156 players, plus 14 caddies, find accommodation with local families.
Valdis Jonsdottir from Iceland travelled one of the longest distances to take part in the Dubbo event. She went via London and Abu Dhabi before landing in Brisbane.
She's now been in Australia for 6.5 weeks and is staying with a local family right near the golf course.
Ms Jonsdottir said Dubbo's hospitality had been great and she was thankful for the experience.

She also praised the facilities at the Dubbo Golf Club.
Ms Dempsey is hoping participants like Ms Jonsdottir will promote Dubbo on their return home.
"That's what it's about. It's about Dubbo Golf Club, what we can bring to the table, what we're offering people and to promote the city of Dubbo. The city of Dubbo is heart and soul for me so I want to promote it," she said.
Having international guests stay has been a unique opportunity for those who have opened their doors. Ms Dempsey said she was disappointed she had been too busy to be part of it herself.
"For some of the girls it's their first time on the tour and by the time they pay airfares there's not much left in the kitty. They've been very appreciative," she said.
"I've spoken to a couple of the host families and they're having a wow of a time."
The Women's NSW Open will run until Sunday.
Ms Dempsey has encouraged Dubbo residents to go and support the event. She said she hoped the competition would boost women's golf in Dubbo and bring in some younger members for the club.
