The chemist held a morning tea bake sale with bakery goods made at home by the staff.
The staff at Delroy Terry White Chemmart have also been running a raffle which will be drawn next Friday.
One lucky winner will receive a quilt that was donated by a member of the Dubbo community, Kathy Walker.
The money raised will go towards ovarian cancer research to better detect it.
Delroy Terry White Chemmart pharmacist Kaail Bohm said they had been holding the fundraisers for 10 years that he knows of, although he suspected the chemist had been raising ovarian cancer awareness much longer.
"Ovarian cancer is one that unfortunately doesn't get a lot of awareness," Mr Bohm said.
"Yet it is one with a high fatality rate.
"We hope by raising awareness we can promote earlier detection and therefore a better health outcome.
"If we had to choose one thing we hope people take away from this event, it's that, and this applies across the board, it doesn't matter how young or old you are, it's important for everyone to have regular checkups with their GP."

Staff member Kerry Braithwood said the customers had been wonderful.
"We have had people donating money even if they weren't buying anything," she said.
"And the staff have done a wonderful job."
