Central West Leadership Academy students and brothers, Noah and Finn Randell are preparing for dinner with a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) JPL scientist in the United States of America.

The brothers have both been successful in securing $5,000 grants from the Supporting Young Scientists Program after showing high potential in mathematics and science.
The grant funding is provided by the Office of the NSW Chief Scientist and Engineer and will support their attendance at the 2020 One Giant Leap NASA Space Camp in the USA which starts in late September.
The boys decided to apply for the sponsorship after they met the NSW chief scientist who encouraged them to do so, and are the first students from Dubbo to have been accepted as well as being two of eight recipients from Australia.
The camp will include visits to the Spaceship Company, the Northrop Grumman Headquarters, the California Science Centre, Universal Studios, Disneyland, Dinner with NASA JPL scientist and the US Space and Rocket Centre.
It will also deliver a program focusing on astrophysics, aeronautics and astronaut training and problem-solving.
Finn, who hopes to secure a PhD in mathematics and study astrophysics in the future said it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
"I've always wanted to go to NASA," Finn said.
"To be able to go to space camp is amazing, I never thought I would.
"Of course I'm excited, it's NASA."
Noah is passionate about becoming a programmer in the future and said having the opportunity to meet people with experience in that field would help his development.
Central West Leadership Academy principal Mandi Randell acknowledges the "importance and generosity" for the opportunity presented by the Office of the Chief Scientist and Engineer of NSW.
"It is important to provide opportunities to regional and rural students that give them the opportunities to extend their learning at an international level," Ms Randell said.
The duo said they would continue studying in preparation for the camp prior to packing their bags for the USA.
