Newtown Gold secured victory over South Limes, with Dan Battishall (49) helping ensure the victory with a strong, tail-end performance that put Gold on 185/9.

Limes lagged behind despite the efforts of Michael Fraser (37) and Fred Walford (30) falling short by 57 runs.

Newtown Black didn't have the same run of luck, putting up 108 with an uneven first innings, hampered by CYMS White's Gavin Weekes (4/15) before Weekes sealed the deal by providing the final runs in the CYMS side's run chase, reaching 113 with two overs to spare.

RSL Colts United fell in similar conditions to the Newtown Black, finishing their innings on 115, before being chased down by a fast firing Demons outfit who reached 118/2 thanks to a half-century and then some from Ben Bunt (69).

Macquarie rounded out the successful teams in the return of the Kelly Cup finishing on 145/6, after the RSL Colts Coolbaggie posted up a respectable 142, with Coolbaggie's Glenn Shields (35) and Macquarie's Thomas Durrant (64) having the best of the batting.
