Mr Dennis has organised an event for the World's Greatest Shave and will face the Clippers in March, along with other residents passionate about the campaign.
"We're trying to get as many people as we can to participate. You don't have to get your hair shaved, you could dye it a fun colour or get a funky hairdo," Mr Dennis said.
Onyx Hair Salon, located at Orana Mall, has donated its services to the cause and will be cutting and colouring the participant's hair.
After seeing some of the other guys in the ward after I had my stroke, I decided I wanted to do as much as I can during my life
- Scott Dennis
Mr Dennis said he hopes to inspire members of the community to embrace themselves and flaunt what makes them different.
When Mr Dennis was 39 he suffered a stroke, developed epilepsy as a result of that, and has suffered as a diabetic since the youthful age of just 12.
Despite the hardships, Mr Dennis said it was during the hardest of times that he decided to make a choice- sit back and feel sorry for himself, or live life to the best that he could.
For Mr Dennis, living his best life means helping others in any way he can.
"After seeing some of the other guys in the ward after I had my stroke, who were in much worse situations than I was, and seeing how neither of them felt sorry for themselves, I decided I wanted to do as much as I can during my life," Mr Dennis said.
"I hope I can inspire others to be content, happy and willing to help too.
"I would love to work as a mentor in society and I hope to continue doing fundraisers."
Mr Dennis has shaved his head before for charity and said the lack of locks does not bother him at all.
The event will be held at Orana Mall of March 12 from 5 pm.
