The ninja course received $200,000 from the NSW government after it was voted as the community's favourite project.
The money was added to contributions from the Titan Macquarie Mud Run and Club Dubbo.
Council acting manager recreation and open space Ben Pilon said the Park Warrior course was expected to be completed just in time for the annual Titan Macquarie Mud Run on March 28.

Mr Pilon said the project included a new 35-bay car park off the Whylandra Street entrance to Sir Roden Cutler Park.
The car park work is expected to be completed across four months from April.
Park Warrior courses are designed to build strength, fitness, and agility while having fun on the spider wall, jungle bars, field of rings, rock hop, the plank, chimney climb and cargo nets.
