Mayrah Jarry and Kaye Simpson organised the bake sale to raise funds for the Rural Fire Service and WIRES.
After the first hour, they had already sold half of their treats, from sweet to savoury, most of which had been baked by the staff. Food was also donated from the private hospital.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Ms Jarry said while Dubbo was lucky not to be near the fires, they still wanted to raise money to help out.
She said she was happy with whatever amount was raised from the sale.
