Dubbo cyclists performed well at the recent NSW State Junior Championships and Dubbo Open Carnival held at the River Street Facility on the weekend.

Although shortened by the welcomed rain, there was plenty of fast racing on show.
The junior championships saw the scratch race and the time trial contested on Saturday.
Under-13 rider Emily Hines was at the top of her game. Hines took gold in the time trial and was narrowly beaten into silver in the scratch race.
Cooper Farr was able to come home with a Bronze medal in his first year in the under-11 category against older riders.
Jarryd Fuller, Jessica Fuller, Ella Mann and Connor Billsborough all performed well.
While it was a shortened program due to the rain, the Open program saw some great results for Dubbo riders.
Men's Division 1 was packed with quality riders. Of the 3 events that were able to be run, local rider Danny Barber came home with two wins in the Scratch race and the Kieran.
Local veteran Division 1 riders Jason Farr and Tim Hines performed well in the handicap race, setting them up for good results in the main event, the Cliff Hazel Wheel Race, had it been able to have been completed.

The Women's Division 1 included many National, International, and Oceania champions. Simone Grounds, Haylee Fuller, Emily Williams and Jennifer Barnes represented Dubbo.
It was Bathurst rider, and Oceania U19 Champion Kalinda Robinson who took the honour in this division taking out the Scratch race and the Kieran.
Dubbo was well represented in the other Divisions with crowd favourites Darrel Wheeler and Darryl Cummings lighting up Division 3.
The youth of the club was on show on the night with teenage riders as Dash Foley, Makayla Fuller, Imogen Fuller, Zara Fuller, Georgia Farr, Isabelle Russel and Trent Hines all putting up stiff competition against much older riders.
During the evening NSW riders of the year awards were handed out in some Junior and Masters categories.
Dubbo rider Simone Grounds was happy to receive awards in front of the local crowd. Following a stellar season in 2019 Grounds was presented with the 2019 Elite Women's Roadwoman of the year; Masters Roadwoman of the year; and the Masters Cyclist of the Year.
Racing on the evening was cut short by rain but all who had travelled to Dubbo to race were impressed by the new facility and are already planning a return trip in the future to race in Dubbo again.
