The Australian indie-pop band will perform its debut album from start to finish to mark 10 years since its release.
The stopover in Dubbo is one of many as part of the bands Conditions, 10th Anniversary tour which kicked off in December of last year.
The album features the popular anthem Sweet Disposition, which has clocked more than 225 million streams on Spotify to date, launched the band onto the world stage and hit platinum sales in Australia, Britain and the US.
The Temper Trap is a four-piece duo comprising of band members, drummer and vocalist, Toby Dundas, band founder Dougy Mandagi, bass guitarist and vocalist Jonathon Aherne and Joseph Greer on keyboards, guitar and vocals.
When the band started in 2005, it had initially been a five-piece duo, which included founding member Lorenzo Sillitto, on guitar and backing vocals, who left the band in late 2013.
Mandagi said without Sillitto, the band wouldn't be where they are now, as his departure encouraged the band to work harder towards its success.
"We work best when we're under pressure," Mandagi said.
According to Mandagi, the show will comprise of some of the band's biggest hit songs from the album, 'Conditions', but will also feature other original songs the public isn't overly familiar with.
"It's a one time show," he said.
"Fans will be treated to a night of absolute nostalgia."
Mandagi said they are excited for their stopover in Dubbo and to perform at The Garden Hotel for their Dubbo audience.
Fans and avid vinyl collectors can also purchase the Conditions limited edition- white vinyl set which features a commemorative inner sleeve with imagery from the early days of the band's career.
