The heavens have opened over Dubbo again.
A total of 14mm was recorded for the 24 hours to 9am on Sunday and a further 7.4mm has fallen since then, the Bureau of Meteorology reports.
Saturday morning also saw the parched landscape turn a little soggy, with 5.8mm measured in the official rain gauge.
Dubbo's Mia Meek Houghton, 4, finally has some use for her wet weather gear.
"She was very excited to get out with the umbrella and her gumboots," mum Emma Meek said.
EARLIER:
Dubbo was looking a little greener on Friday after a couple of rainy days.
The Bureau of Meteorology recorded 28.4 millimetres of rain in Dubbo across Thursday and Friday.
For young residents like Chloe Lyons the rain was a perfect opportunity to have some fun in the mud. Chloe spent some time on Friday morning jumping in muddy puddles.
Friday's rain brings the February total to 33.8mm.
And hopefully more is on the way.
There's an 80 per cent chance of rain forecast for both Saturday and Sunday, with between four to 15mm expected each day.

Monday could also be rainy with a 70 per cent chance of a shower or two.
That chance decreases on Tuesday at Wednesday, where only a small amount of rain, if any, is expected.
Trangie has had less than half of the rain Dubbo received during the month so far at 14.6mm.
Further west has seen rain similar to Dubbo with 32.4mm falling in Cobar in February. Nearly all was from the rain on Thursday and Friday.
