An alleged thief responsible for nearly 100 robberies from Bathurst to Bourke over a six month period last year will front court in Orange on Thursday.

The 20-year-old was arrested at the Orange Police Station on Wednesday morning following an investigation from Strike Force Peppin.
Police allege the man robbed a number of service stations, clubs, shops and homes at villages and towns within the Central West, Orana Mid-Western and Chifley Police Districts between February and June in 2019.

The man will face court charged with over 90 offences for break and enter, and has been charged with stealing a number of cars as well, and was formally refused bail on Thursday at Orange Local Court.
The man will appear at the same court on Monday, February 10 and further inquiries are continuing.
