Police have been told five women were involved in the fight in Aberford Street about 2.30am on Saturday.
Two sisters, aged 20 and 22, were allegedly stabbed by a broken bottle during a fight with three women.
The older sister suffered a punctured lung after being stabbed in the back, while the younger sister has two stab wounds to her back.
They were driven to Coonamble Hospital before being transferred to Dubbo Hospital for further treatment.

Following inquiries, a 20-year-old woman and 47-year-old woman attended Coonamble Police Station about 6.30pm and were arrested.
They have been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and affray. The 20-year-old and 47-year-old been granted conditional bail to appear at Coonamble Local Court on Tuesday, February 18.
About 6.15pm on Sunday, a 23-year-old woman was arrested and charged at Coonamble Police Station.
She has been charged with two counts of reckless wounding, two counts of wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and affray.
The woman has been refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Monday.
