A much-changed side scored a narrow win at Dundas Park, as Chris Newbold's hard-hitting in the middle and the work of Lawson Shepherd and Dale O'Donnell with the ball secured the result.
After Tom Peacock (34) had got Dubbo going at the top of the order, it was Newtown's Newbold who belted the side to a competitive total.
Newbold made 63 as Dubbo amassed 193.

Doug Potter led the way with the ball, taking 4/35 from 10, but he missed out with the bat during the chase.
The key man made just 1, falling to left-arm opening bowler Shepherd (3/30), but Cameron Collins and Bronson Barker kept the hosts on target.
At 4/98 and with the pair at the crease things were looking good but Heath Larance removed Barker (52) and then Dale O'Donnell entered the attack and knocked over Collins (49).
O'Donnell proved vital in the win, working his way through a gutsy lower order on the way to finishing with 3/8 from 6.4 overs.
Narromine was knocked over for 180, giving Dubbo a second win after an earlier victory over Cobar.
Dubbo next plays host to Nyngan in the Brewery Shield, with that game being played on February 2.
