The event will run on Saturday, February 15, from 10am to 4pm, with Dr Karl set to make a special appearance in store at the event from 10am to 2pm.
Dr Karl, who is also an author of 45 books, will have his own desk set up at the event and guests will be able to ask him questions.
Axxis founder and director, and former mayor of Dubbo, Mathew Dickerson, said the first 50 people to visit Dr Karl's desk would receive a free, signed copy of his most recent book,'Dr Karl's Random Road Trip Through Science'.
"Those first fifty people to receive Dr Karl's latest book will also receive a copy of my book, 'Tech Talk 2020'," Mr Dickerson said.
"It is an exciting day for our staff and all of the previous staff that have provided wonderful services to residents in regional NSW over the last thirty years. To celebrate, we will be giving away $10,000 worth of prizes to our clients on the day."
Prizes include a lucky draw for clients to win an iPad Pro 11 valued at $1,500, ten $100 axxis gift card vouchers, and prize spin wheel which will be giving away prizes including caps, t-shirts, keyrings, balls and pop grips.
At 11am local Daryl Coxon will cut the birthday cake. Mr Dickerson said it was a way of thank Mr Coxon for coming up with the initial ideal of selling mobile phones back in 1989.
"Many people forget their roots, but I well remember a trip to the Adelaide Grand Prix in 1989 when I suggested to Mathew that he should start selling mobile phones," Mr Coxon said.
"He obviously took my suggestion seriously and has connected almost 70,000 phones for people over that time."
Mr Dickerson started his first micro-business in 1980 during his first year of high school, but said he counts the start date of his 'real' business career as, December 4, 1989, when M.A.D. Industries was born.
