In a rain-shortened 15 over-a-side final against Dubbo, Kreuzberger went bananas at the top of the order for Mitchell, clubbing six sixes and three fours to score an astonishing 53 from just 18 deliveries.

When Kreuzberger was dismissed, he'd scored 53 of his side's 65 runs, sending Will Lumley (1-41 from three) and Jai Reeves (0-31 from three) to all corners of Sally Kennett Oval.

His half-ton came off just 16 balls, but the show didn't go on as he was dismissed two deliveries later by Lumley.

Fellow opener Calvin Windus hit 32 from 36, and Orange duo Gus Cornish and Luke Hunter chimed in to swell the total to a mammoth 4-140 from their 15 overs, with Josh Bywater stemming the flow at the back end of the innings with 2-7 from two.

Dubbo came out firing through Noah Brein (21 from 19), but the run rate got away from them despite the efforts of skipper Hugh Sienkiewicz (22 from 15) and a hard-hitting Angus Rose (22 from 12).

Hugh Thompson backed up his seven-wicket haul on Wednesday with another two in the final, while Kreuzberger also got in on the action with two wickets and a run out while openers Oliver Hollow and Liam Cain were both economical.

Skipper Kreuzberger said it was good for the side to get the win, but was especially pleased to have an all-country decider, with the match the first time two non-city teams have clashed in the decider in recent memory.

"The boys didn't hold back and kept going hard," he said.

"We got strong cricketers out in the country and the boys, they all try real hard. Country boys, they've got a bit of grit about them."

Kreuzberger said his bowlers had done the hard yards through the tournament, with Thompson taking tonnes of wickets and Liam Cain "didn't get the wickets he deserved" for his line and length bowling, but admitted it was nice to lead from the front in scoring heavily.

"It was nice to get runs, I haven't been getting them lately so it was really good to get them.

"I got to 50 in 16 balls (today) and they were coming off the bat pretty well, being on synthetic helps.

"It's great, especially to help the boys, someone's got to get runs and it happened to be me."

Meanwhile, Dubbo skipper Sienkiewicz said the his side "did pretty well but were a bit unlucky" to come up against the full force of the Mitchell skipper.

"We were looking to have some fun as a group but managed to win a few games as well," he said.

"I've played a lot of cricket with and against him and he's a very good player, not much you can do when he gets going like that."
