School leavers are being reminded of fee-free opportunities to launch their careers as TAFE NSW Dubbo prepares to host InfoFest from Monday.

TAFE NSW regional general manager Kate Baxter says there has "never been a better time to consider vocational education and training" with fee-free traineeships and apprenticeships on offer through the state government along with Smart and Skilled funding.
She is also pointing to industries with skills shortages and TAFE NSW's ability to help people get "job-ready".

"Courses for nine of the 10 most in-demand jobs are already being delivered by TAFE NSW," Ms Baxter said.
"Industries across the state, such as construction, nursing and hospitality, are experiencing skills shortages, which means that now is the time for people to get the qualification they need for the job they want."
InfoFest, from January 20 to 24, will allow prospective students to examine courses, meet teachers and explore facilities.
