You can now read Dubbo's local newspaper, the Daily Liberal, online in the same layout as the printed edition, free every day in your local library. Just visit your nearest branch of Macquarie Regional Library, and go to dailyliberal.com.au on your own wi-fi connected device, or on one of the library's public access PCs. Then click on the 'Today's Paper' tab on the menu bar to access today's paper. Approximately 12 months of back issues are also available. Need to delve even further into newspaper archives? Andy Jones Rap n Roll Show - Well-known and loved children's author Andy Jones will be coming to Dubbo and Wellington Libraries in late January for a high energy Rap n Roll Show! If you like rap or just feel like joining in a fun, creative group feel free to book in today! Andy is the author of The Awesome Book of Rap, Rhyme and Putrid Poetry and many more laugh out loud books for kids. He has also produced CDs and audiobooks.

Tech help for you in 2020 - The library has a range of one on one tech workshops designed to help people learn more about technology.
You can choose from Computer basics, Android Tablet, iPads, Internet, Email, Online Safety - and of course we can take you through the use of our online library including eBooks. Digital @ Dubbo sessions run for an hour and are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 2pm. Bookings are essential, contact the library on 6801 4510.
