This week, their side prevented one, with the Central West duo co-captaining the NSW side at the 2020 Under 21 Women's Indoor Championships, swatting down a NSW Blue side lead by Dubbo's Courtney Hogan in a 7-2 victory over the second side.
"It was very different to the opens win," Barrett said of her second win in as many weeks.
"Going into that we had no pressure to win it but with this, because we'd won it so long in a row and we'd played together so long so there were very different expectations."
It was Barrett's fourth under-21s title, and she was stoked to win it as captain alongside Corcoran, the Dubbo junior and former Australian Country outdoor representative.
"It's wonderful having played together for so long to go out with another win, and we both had great goal numbers as well - she scored eight and I scored seven so it was nice to have those numbers on our backs," she said.
The co-captains were the only two who've aged out of the under-21s side, and their final victory in the age group is up there as one of the sweetest, but Barrett has no doubt the juniors still in the side next year will help continue their dominance.

"We're such a strong state when it comes to indoor players and I think we're lucky in that sense," she said.
"The Blue side finished second and they absolutely deserved it, they were a great side."
The two were bolstered by Eva Reith-Snare in the starting five in Wollongong, who's backing up for NSW in the under-18 carnival alongside Heidi Townsend.
Games for that carnival begin on Monday morning.
Helena Tobbe found the back of the net in the first minute of the game, and while CYMS' Courtney Hogan snared one back just five minutes later and deadlock the game for the next period, but at the start of the second stanza the floodgates opened.
Emma O'Brien scored twice in three minutes before Tobbe scored another, putting the side 4-1 up five minutes into the second period.
Both skippers found the back of the net in the final period, with Corcoran netting one and Barrett putting the final nail in NSW Blue's coffin to cement the 7-2 scoreline with two minutes to go.
NSW didn't drop a game in the championship, whacking NSW Blue 5-nil in the tournament opener before accounting for Queensland 6-1, Western Australia 5-2, ACT 10-1 and Victoria 4-3 in the rest of their pool matches.
The side made short work of Western Australia in its semi-final match, nabbing an 8-2 victory to win through to the final.
Hogan's NSW Blue side dropped just the one game in its pool matches - to NSW - and drew 2-all with Western Australia in its second game but didn't lose another until the final.
