It's the first of nine family fun days Dubbo Regional Council is holding at the Dubbo, Wellington and Geurie pools.
The fun day will start at 9.30am and will include a sausage sizzle. The splash pad, inflatables and waterslide will also be in use all day.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a maximum of 30 degrees for Saturday with a 50 per cent chance of storms.

Other family fun days will be held in Dubbo and Geurie on Australia Day, Sunday January 26, Saturday February 22 and Saturday, March 7. During those days, entry to the pool will be $2 and sausage sizzles will be available.
Entry for the Wellington Aquatic Leisure Centre is $2 until Australia Day after the $8.35 million facility reopened at the end of last year.
At the time, mayor Ben Shields said the reduced fee wasn't sustainable in Dubbo due to staffing and safety issues.
However, to ensure Dubbo and Geurie didn't miss out completely, he called for council to organise some family fun days.
"New activities have been introduced at our aquatic centres and are proving very popular. The latest inflatable aquatic equipment and toys are adding to the fun for residents and visitors making a splash at Dubbo, Wellington and Geurie," Cr Shields said.
"The special entry price of $2 for the family fun days in Dubbo and Geurie also gives our residents a fantastic opportunity to get together and enjoy the vibrancy of our aquatic leisure centres."
