While a holiday might be next for Narromine trainer and owner pairing Kylie Kennedy and Ricky Blewitt, it seems like the last thing Bansuri will be headed for after another winning performance.

"Yeah, we're definitely feeling good about her performance, we've been very happy with her lately, my partner and I own her so it's very good for us and it should pay for a nice little holiday for us now," Kennedy said.

The six year old had placed third in four of her last five starts before the most recent appearance at Dubbo, and had taken first place in a start at Narromine at the end of November.
"I was thinking about a spell for her, but you never want to spell a horse that's in that winning form," Kennedy said.
"She's been up for a long while, but just with the drought at the moment, there's nowhere you can really spell a horse at the moment, so it's probably for the best that we're keeping her in work."
Bansuri ($6) was back to that winning form in Dubbo, fighting from the back of the pack and the middle of the track and sliding to the inside of the barrier around the final turn under the guidance of jockey Anthony Cavallo.
"She was always thereabouts, I have had plenty of goes with her, I've rode her probably about a dozen times," Cavallo said.
"But we had a bit of luck today, stuck to the fence and kept kicking on, we went from last to right up there and then she did the rest."
Coming around the final turn, the race took a tragic turn as Dar Lunn's Regalia, who was bringing up the rear with Anthony Banks in the saddle, took a hard fall and threw his rider clear.
Banks was unharmed and raced in the following race, but Regalia wasn't able to recover.
Bansuri put in speed as the final straight begun, powering past the Sharon Jeffries' trained Empowered Madam ($2.45, favourite) and Garry Lunn's Just On Spec ($12) to secure the victory.
Bansuri's final kick put a full length between her and the second place finisher Empowered Madam, with Just On Spec crossing the finishing line a hair behind in third, followed by Bruce Parker's Zouzoom.
Kennedy hasn't quite figured what will be next for her and her partner's latest winner, with the change in grade providing some interesting opportunities for the Narromine mare.
"I'd been looking at more Class 1s for her, but now that she's out of that grade, she'll have to take the step up to a ratings race, we're going to have to take a look at what's in the calendar for her and what's coming up next," Kennedy said.
"For now, we'll keep her ticking along and we'll see how she goes."
