The club, who successfully claimed the 2019 premiership title from 2018's winners of the Oilsplus Cup title in the senior competition after defeating the Geurie Goats, are advertising for three open coaching positions in the senior men's competition, senior women's competition and a potential under 18's Colts competition.

Coach Greg Brien, who led the senior men through their incredible 2018 season, including a minor premiership finish and the eventual title win, has not yet confirmed if he will be seeking to hold the position again.
In a statement, the club said that the club had developed a culture of hard work, and was eager to renew their success in 2020.
"Wellington rugby has developed a culture of playing hard, tough football on the field and a great bunch of people to have a beer with after the game," The club said.
Expressions of interest for any of the open positions are to be sent to wellingtonredbacks@outlook.com.au along with a one page resume detailing previous coaching experience and achievements.
If Brien does not return to his position as the coach of the senior men, the Redbacks will join nearby rival team the Geurie Goats in farewelling their successful head coach the year following a premiership win.
Paul Hausia led the Goats to success in 2018, but decided to step away from the coaching position last year.
