"Recently, I spoke to my grandfather who lived in Dubbo between 1963 and 1970(ish), and he told me about a good friend he made there, that he lost contact with," Ms Robson said.
"They were neighbours, and their landline phone number was lost when my grandparents moved.
"They lived at 14 Spence Street, and pop remembers their names were Kevin Roberts, Frankie Roberts (son), and Johnnie Roberts (son) and a sister."
"Today Kevin would most likely be in his 70s and his children in their 50s."
Ms Robson said reconnecting the friends would be a "nice surprise" for her grandfather, but so far, her search for the family has come up empty-handed.

"I'm hoping that, with the power of social media, I may be able to get a lead," she said.
