Wright, in the saddle through the day's six races, made the most of a limited field in order to secure victories the opening three with aplomb.
Riding for Rodney Robb in the opening Open Trophy Handicap, Wright notched up a narrow win atop Mango Liston, before repeating the feat in race two trainer Wayne Marsden and nabbing a maiden win by the skin of Ellanavelle's teeth.

In the aptly named third race, the 'Think Water Out West' Class B Handicap, the odds on favourite stormed home down a dusty straight along the outside to secure another win for Robb's stable, helping Star Express to a two lengths lead across the finishing line.
Jockey Ricky Blewitt broke Wright's streak with a victory in the Hotel Picnic Maiden Plate, guiding Roy McCabe's Any Loose Change to a first win and leaving Wright and Rodney Robb's Steph's Wish in second.
But Wright was once again the victor in the day's fifth race, capturing a third win of the day for Rodney Robb and a fourth for herself, storming home with Drummed Out in the Three Rivers Machinery Macquarie Picnic Cup and finishing a full three lengths ahead of their nearest rival.
Trainer Greg O'Neill scored his first and only win of the day in the final race, capping off the picnic cup meeting with a victory for Bentley Gold in the Warrego Gypsum Class B Handicap thanks to the effort of jockey Jody Hughes.
