Jill and Cathy from Pennant Hill War Memorial Children's centre visited the Wargundy dam to see the dire impacts of the drought first hand, and to gain a better understanding.
Not only did the children at Dunedoo preschool receive gifts from them, but Pennant Hills had also arranged gift vouchers to the value of $50 for every preschool family, and for the preschool staff.
The gift vouchers were donated by local Dunedoo businesses.
Pennant Hills commented on how much they enjoyed speaking with local business owners while arranging the vouchers, and learning about the drought.
