Dubbo's Macquarie Regional Library had the honour of launching resident, Bill Stanford's, first-ever travel memoir, 'Bhutan to India', last week.

The audience learned about Bill's early days of travel and his love of adventure as a young man.
Mr Stanford and his wife have travelled to 120 different countries, and sailed several oceans, during their 40 years of marriage.
Dubbo Library Coordinator Melissa Tong said the event was "successful".

"Nearly sixty people came to listen and were enthralled as Bill shared his love of travelling and his experiences of travels from Bhutan to India with his wife," Ms Tong said.
"The audience also learned about Bill's early days of travel and his love of adventure as a young man from long-time-local and friend, Peter Milling.
"It was a great evening had by all who attended."
