Ms Christof says it is the one day of the year she does not want to watch the clock, probably because the workaholic arts buff typically works eight days a week.
Here are Ms Christof's answers to the Daily Liberal's Christmas questions.
What do you want from Santa this year?
I wrote to Santa and said this year I would like a big fat bank account and a slim body and please don't get them mixed up like you did last year! Seriously, I don't need gifts I'm happy with the gift of family and friends around me.
What does Christmas mean to you?
It is a happy time where I am thankful for the many blessings in my life but also a time of sadness for me.
What will you be doing on Christmas Day?
Hanging out with family, hot weather, surrounded by water, ideally the ocean, a red frock, no clock, bubbles and cuddles.
What was your best Christmas?
Not sure if it was the best or the most memorable.
Camping at Menindee Lakes and floating on an air-bed with tinsel blowing in the breeze from one of the nearby barren trees in the lake and watching the sunset.
Solitary and peaceful.
Do you prefer hot food or cold food on Christmas Day?
Definitely a cold food buffet, with every variety of salad possible and the traditional trifle that you somehow make room for in your belly, followed by a nana nap.
Where would your ideal place be to spend Christmas Day?
A large beach house overlooking the Pacific ocean and having my whole family together again. Sun, surf, sand and silliness.
Yes, that would definitely be ideal.
