The water was delivered by Team Rubicon as part of its Litres for the Land project. The organisation will provide up to six million litres of water for residents in the region, donated by Dubbo Regional Council.
The project is a partnership between Team Rubicon and Clubs NSW.

Deliveries have already been made in Tamworth and the organisation is hoping to spread it even further across NSW.
Ms Frankham and her husband, who live on a 800-hectare property, have always been careful not to waste any water.
"We have always only done the washing when the machine was full and at the moment we don't know when it will rain next. The water has come in the nick of time," she said.
Mr Frankham said the water meant a lot to the farmers.
"We don't have 20 minute showers and when the dishwasher broke down we had to go back to washing the dishes by hand until it was repaired. It was amazing how much more water we used," he said.
"I had to lay a new pipe from one tank to another until the dishwasher was repaired. It all adds to the workload."
The couple have been hand-feeding their sheep for the past three years. The flock has halved to 400 head through sales, losses during lambing and those that have died after becoming stuck in mud holes that used to be dams.
Mr Frankham said the delivery from Team Rubicon would last them "quite a while".
Up to five deliveries per day are expected to be made by Team Rubicon. The organisation is coordinating farmer requests to replenish water supplies and engaging local water carters to access water from council filling stations.
"We are restoring hope," Team Rubicon's welfare officer Danielle Walker said.
"They are overwhelmed and have a feeling of relief by the help that is being given."
She said talking to farmers, she sensed how working through the drought was lonely for them.
"We're here until the drought ends," Ms Walker said.
The organisation hopes to raise $1 million to continue to supply potable water.
The six million litres delivered in the Dubbo area was the equivalent of $25,000.
Anyone in need of water is encouraged to email droughthelp@teamrubiconaus.org or to Google 'Litres for the Land' and follow the prompts to fill out the Team Rubicon form.
